PSR sulfur recovery catalyst is mainly used in oil refinery Klaus sulfur recovery device, collector gas purification system, city gas purification system, synthetic ammonia plant, barium and strontium salt industry, methanol plant sulfur recovery device after desulfurization and regeneration, under the action of catalyst, the Claus reaction to produce industrial sulfur.
PSR sulfur recovery catalysts generate large amounts of H2S gas during the processing of coal, oil and natural gas. To protect the environment and recover elemental sulfur, the Kraus process is commonly used in industry to treat acidic gases containing H2S. Industrial applications have shown that a general furnace H 2S conversion rate of 65%-75% can be achieved at the high temperatures that can be reached by the combustion furnace, and the total sulfur conversion rate of the unit is about 92-95% if the secondary Krauss process is used.
The service life of the catalyst is generally more than 3 years. If the catalyst activity drops sharply or/and cannot be used due to catalyst over-temperature, serious carbon accumulation and poisoning during operation, the catalyst can be replaced in the whole furnace or partly at the discretion of the using unit.
