How to replace Carbon Molecular Sieve?

A/ Disconnect the power supply of the nitrogen generator and drain it: Before replacing the carbon molecular sieve, the power supply of the ammonia generator needs to be disconnected first and drained. The purpose of emptying is to prevent nitrogen residue from damaging the new carbon molecular sieve when it is replaced. To ensure safety, the gas in the pipeline system of the ammonia generator should be drained and it should be checked whether there is any residue in the gas path system.

B/ Disassemble the outer casing and control panel of the nitrogen generator: Before disassembling the outer casing and control panel of the nitrogen generator, it is necessary to first check the equipment's user manual and maintenance manual to understand the location and replacement method of the carbon molecular sieve. To disassemble the casing and control panel of the nitrogen generator, tools such as wrenches and screwdrivers are needed. Remove the screws first, and then disassemble the casing and control panel.

C/ Disassembling the old carbon molecular sieve: Before disassembling the old carbon molecular sieve, it is necessary to release the pressure in the gas path system first, then disassemble the continuous pipeline of the carbon molecular sieve and take it out of the nitrogen generator.

D/ Installation of new carbon molecular sieves: The installation of new carbon molecular sieves should be carried out in accordance with the requirements of the nitrogen generator equipment user manual. The connecting pipelines should be tightened to prevent air leakage. It is necessary to ensure that the new carbon molecular sieve contains no carbon powder to avoid affecting the purity of the ammonia gas.

E/ Reassembling the nitrogen generator: After the new carbon molecular sieve is installed, the casing and control panel of the nitrogen generator need to be reassembled. When installing, it is necessary to ensure that all screws are tightened to guarantee the stability and safety of the nitrogen generator.
