The 13X-APG molecular sieve is a special type of molecular sieve produced to meet the specific requirements of the cryogenic air separation industry. It is designed to enhance the adsorption capacity of the molecular sieve for carbon dioxide and water, thereby preventing the occurrence of freezing towers during the air separation process. It can also be applied in oxygen enrichment. Additionally, it can be used for gas purification in air separation devices, for removing water and carbon dioxide, for desulfurization of natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas, and for deep drying of general gases.
The 13X-APG molecular sieve is also applied in gas purification in air separation units, drying and desulfurization of natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, and liquid hydrocarbons; as a catalyst carrier, co-adsorption of water and carbon dioxide, co-adsorption of water and hydrogen sulfide gas; in drying of medicine and air compression systems; purification of raw gas for large and medium-sized deep cryogenic air separation units, removing water (H2O), carbon dioxide (CO2), and hydrocarbons. The 13X-APG molecular sieve has a high carbon dioxide adsorption capacity and can also adsorb trace moisture, acetylene, and other hydrocarbons in the air.
Regeneration:
1)Removing moisture: Heat the drying gas such as nitrogen, air, hydrogen, saturated carbon hydrogen to 150-320℃ under a pressure of 0.3-0.5 kg/m2 and pass it through the molecular sieve bed for 3-4 hours. Then, introduce dry cold gas into the adsorber for about 2-3 hours, isolate from air and cool down to room temperature;
2)Removing organic substances: First, replace the adsorbate from the molecular sieve using steam, then follow the first step; or regenerate at 200-350℃ with superheated steam or inert gas;
3)Removing gas substances can be regenerated by reducing pressure.
